Kite Festival!

Making kite glyphs In Math!

A glyph is a picture that shows information about the person who created it.
Kindergarten's glyphs answered questions about what they like to do in the Spring.
Children who have an orange sun do not have a birthday in the Spring.
Children who have an odd number of rectangles like snowy weather.
Children who drew between 5 and 7 stripes like to ride bikes.
If there is only one bow, they are the youngest in their family.
After they made the glyphs we interpreted the data we collected.
The last photo shows our data collection.

Eleven children are the youngest person in their family.
Five children have flown a kite, and 7 have not.
Six children like to ride bikes.
Two like to skateboard.
Three play team sports.
